How to train for Mind The Ducks 12 Hour

Even CanLake50 is different type of ultra compared to Mind The Ducks 12 Hour majority of the concepts are the same for both events when CanLake50 specific information is removed. I am yet to find a ultra veteran who would dispute any of the information posted on the Training Page.
Many recreational/amateur ultra runners have found Bryon Powell book “Relentless Forward Progress: A Guide to Running Ultramarathons” helpful source of information for how to prepare yourself for ultra distances. I have not read the book myself however I have heard lots of unsolicited positive endorsements for this book from various ultra runners.
